Cool Off on a Hot Summer Day in Your Hot Tub!

Summer in Colorado, a wonderful season!  Hot, dry days and cool, clear nights.  Your spa can fit right in.  Yes, your hot tub can keep you cool in the summer.  Hot tubs are Colorado swimming pools.  They can be used very effectively to cool off and refresh.  First, adjust the temperature of your spa to 98 degrees.  Anything much lower than 98 degrees will give you a chill in just a few minutes.  At 98 degrees you can relax and enjoy your spa for an extended period of time.  It will feel warm as you get in, but in just a few minutes you will begin to feel cooler.  After all your body's normal temp is 98.6 degrees, so water temperatures under that are cooling.

Now grab a good book, a hat with a visor, and sun glasses.  Relax and experience the gradual cooling that takes place.  You can spend longer periods of time using your spa with the temperature set at 98 degrees.  This leads to a deeper cooling than .....say taking a cool shower.  The effects of a shower are short lived because the cooling is quick and more shallow.  A shower cools you off on the outside, but does not effectively lower your core temperature.  That's why its' cooling doesn't last.  Using your spa at moderated temperatures allows you to use it longer.  You'll feel cool and refreshed for hours.  So go ahead, on a hot day, use your hot tub, to cool off!

Outside in Winter

When the weather is cold and snowy using your outdoor spa is more pleasurable than at any other time of year.  Yes, that's right.  I know it may seem that being in your bathing suit (or less) outside in winter might be a chilling experience.  But for many spa owners the time they spend in their spa during the winter months is the time they enjoy their spa the most.

In fact, the cold air makes the spa seem hotter, certainly when you enter it.  When the air is warmer, the temperature difference between the outside air and the water in your spa is less.  So in summer, while still feeling warm, your spas water does not feel as hot as it does when the air is cold in winter.

It is important to make some smart decisions when choosing the location for your outdoor spa.  The rule is:  "nearer the door is always better than further".  Of course you need to do what works best in your yard with your landscaping and personal preferences.  But with some thoughtfulness and planning your outdoor spa installation will give you fun and pleasure for many years to come.

Limelight Spas: Premium Features at a Mid Level Price

Our Limelight line from Watkins Manufacturing,  the maker of Hot Spring Spas, is a mid level priced spa line that has many of the same features as the Hot Spring Spa line.  The spas are beautiful with an elegantly detailed spa shell.  The seating is spacious and incredibly comfortable.  The cabinets are well built with steel frames and low maintenance ELMwood simulated wood.

Limelight use the same Wavemaster Pumps as the Hot Spring Line.  The Silent Flo circulation pump automatically filters and heats the water.  It is quiet and very energy efficient.  The titanium No-Fault heater is dependable, efficient and backed by an exclusive No-Fault warranty.

Limelight features include the Raio Lighting System that illuminates the entire hot tub with multiple points of light.  This lighting accents the contemporary lines of the spa shell, the four corners of the spa and the tranquil arch of the Vidro waterfall.  The six colors can  change through a rotating loop or remain constant, while illuminating at 3 different brightness levels.  The jet configurations are varied and effective in providing superior hydrotherapy.   Limelight Spas are now available with the Ace Salt Water Sanitizing System as well.

These mid priced spas are more than equal to the competition's premium priced spa lines.  They are a choice that can save you money and still give you many of the important features of our Hot Spring Spas.

Our quality products, our fair prices, and our commitment to service are the tools I'll use to earn your business. No spa is the equal of a Hot Spring Spa. In Denver, International Hot Tub Company represents Hot Spring Spas. For over 32 years IHT has been selling Hot Spring. Over 22,000 spas sold. This is an effort to open another line of communication for my customers and prospective customers. I hope to help anyone, with any type spa, with any issue or concern they have. I invite everyone to comment.

Make no mistake about it. Hot Spring Spas are the best engineered, most therapeutic, most reliable, quietest, and most energy efficient spas made. In my posts I discuss specifics that support this.  For now I'll leave you with the following endorsements.
